Monthly Archives: June 2012

June 2012

Yeah! Two accomplishments!

First finishing up the Color and Theme Project!!! I learned a lot for the past two months! And a had lots of fun looking for the colors! God really showed me that He cares so much for me and for all of you!

Second… We made it to the half of the year!!! But I think I’ll write about it tomorrow!

Well, I wanted to share something that I stared doing on May 15th and it has been life changing for me! It is also why there is a smile face on my last post that is titled Be thankful.

Every night I write 5 things that I’m thankful to God for that day! I realized that my days are way better and that just by thanking God for little things such as the rain, sun, a pretty flower or anything is helping overcome many of the giants I’ve been blogging about including worries… You know, when you make it part of your life to with a sincere heart thank God, He fills your heart with His love and you can’t help but to feel so sure and confident of the one you serve!

I suggest you try to do that…

Be blessed! And stay with us!

Day 182 – Be thankful

Color and Theme Project: Week 9 – Color: Black – Theme: Worry

I claim this scripture to overcome worry:

“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.” Colossians 3:15

Day 181 – The care taker!

Color and Theme Project: Week 9 – Color: Black – Theme: Worry

I claim this scripture to overcome worry:

“If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?” Matthew 6:30

Day 180 – Under the tree

Color and Theme Project: Week 9 – Color: Black – Theme: Worry

I claim this scripture to overcome worry:

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” Psalms 55:22

(I spotted them weeks ago… I knew then that I would take a picture when the color for the project was black. They are just around the corner from my house. Is amazing how by taking a picture everyday you train your eyes to see what is in front of you! Aren’t they cute??)

Day 179 – A walk on the shore

Color and Theme Project: Week 9 – Color: Black – Theme: Worry

I claim this scripture to overcome worry:

“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.” Psalms 43:5

Day 178 – At the Mystic Dock

Color and Theme Project: Week 9 – Color: Black – Theme: Worry

I claim this scripture to overcome worry:

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

(This is one of the places I usually go before I go to work. I take many pictures there… It is not only a great source for pictures but also a great place to pray, relax and be worry free!)

Day 177 – God will meet all your needs!

Color and Theme Project: Week 9 – Color: Black – Theme: Worry

I claim this scripture to overcome worry:

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

(Mondays are now just really busy for me… I got a part time job and I’m getting very tired lately but I know that is temporary so it helps to think like that… So, I haven’t been able to spend a lot of time taking pictures but I’m so grateful that God keeps on providing them! And more important than the pictures is His word that is what truly transforms our lives! I’ve been living this verse of Philippians! I’ve seen God meet all my needs! I’m so grateful for His love!)
