Day 244 – Sand of the sea
“But you have said, ‘I will surely make you prosper and will make your descendants like the sand of the sea, which cannot be counted.’” Genesis 32:12
(I made to the beach this morning! It was so good to be there even for a short time!)
Day 243 – A conscious choice
“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?” 1 Corinthians 3:16
(It is the first time I post a picture like that… I just didn’t find anything during the day and I was having a felling that today’s post would be about “food”. Well, people usually don’t think I like to cook! Actually, they think I can’t cook! They get surprise when I say how much I like to cook and how I wish I would cook more often… I explain to them that is not only about the food but is also about the process which ends up being similar to painting… We put ingredients together and come up with a dish that we enjoy. Same thing with painting… We put color and shapes together and come up with a paint that we would enjoy! Anyways… why did I chose this verse??? Well, for the past 4 months I started to make conscious choice about what I eat… I stopped eating meat. I still eat some fish. Just eating healthier and juicing a lot! And trying to eat as raw as I can. I get criticized a bit about it but I made my choice and I believe is the right one. I guess this post is not only about food at all… Is about the choices we make everyday that will affect our future. Think about it!
By the way, I’ve been using a better camera lately… is a Sony Alpha 700! And I love avocado!!!)
Day 241 – Where is He?
“God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne.” Psalms 47:8
(God really spoke with me today… I must confess that it has been a while since I don’t hear God that well… But I heard Him today… I’ve been questioning where He is because I’ve being going through tough times and even tough I know He is taking care of me, I’m not listing to Him as before. I’m working a lot I feel as if God is so far away from me… Today I planned to go to the beach (As you might know, is where I go to find Him) but the day went on a different course and I ended up shooting the clouds and then I shot this picture and He told me that He is at the same place, seated on His throne (the sky in the picture) and that I was me that put all this things (the trees) is between us and because of that I can’t hear Him (the sky is blurry). And I agreed… The desire of my heart is to be tight with Him as I was before… Life without Him or a bit away is a mess…)
Day 240 – Prayer request
“Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. A large crowd followed him, and he healed all who were ill.” Matthew 12:15
(I would like to share with you all about my sister’s sister-in-law. Her name is Juliana, 35 years old, married and mother of a 3 year old boy. They live in Brazil and we just found out about 3 weeks ago that she as Adenocarcinoma a rare type of cancer that apparently has no cure… But God can heal her… If you can, please, remember her and her family in your prayers… Thank you.)
Day 238 – Heavens and earth!
“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” Jeremiah 32:17
(Well, I’m exhausted and today we had a great yard sale! And that tree was the only thing I could think of for today’s post… And the verse is a great reminder! Nothing is too hard for Him!)
Day 237 – Thrilled!
“You thrill me, Lord, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done.” Psalms 92:4
Day 236 – By the river…
“When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.” Psalm 94:18-19
