From Day 327 to Day 335 – Grace & Love

Hi everyone!

I’m not posting everyday, but I am taking pictures everyday and by the grace and love of God I haven’t missed one day!

So, here it is the end of the month!

Most of the pictures are taken from the apartment where we are staying till we move next next week! Sometimes I take pictures on the streets but I don’t feel that comfortable yet… I’m still slowly adapting to a new reality…

I don’t feel like writing today… So I’ll finish with this verse:

“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Day 305 – By the river

“The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.” Psalm 29:11

Day 304 – Sunset…

“But from there you will search again for the Lord your God. And if you search for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him.” Deuteronomy 4:19

Day 303 – Powerfull God

“Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God.” Psalm 62:11

(I’m sorry I haven’t been able to post daily… It has been just nuts with the moving back to Brazil. Because of the hurricane Sandy our flight got cancelled and instead of leaving today we are leaving Thursday… But I think is even better… There is still so much to do… So, yesterday I had to go to a store by the Charles River. Me and my friend couldn’t just stay in the car… So we go by the river… At that time it wasn’t that bad but we could feel it… I would stand and just feel it, heard it… I felt the God’s power… Is very strong… Made me feel good afterwards… I hope that if you were on the coast you are okay!)

Day 302 – Stained Glass

“You must be blameless before the Lord your God.” Deuteronomy 18:13

(Yesterday was my last Sunday… My last day at my church where I attended for over 11 years. Church became family and home… This stained glass is there… The symmetry of the church amazes me… I used to sit on the altar when no one was there and just admire the house of God and it’s symmetry… I imagined all the work was put on (I think over 100 years ago) to build this amazing place and what a privileged to be there all those years… This verse was from the preaching… God is good, faithful, loving, merciful… I thank Him for this beautiful place I call “my church”.)

Day 301 – His plans

“The Lord will work out his plans for my life—for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever.” Psalms 138:8a

(Today we had a good bye “party” (I’m not sure how to call it) at church… How good it is to feel loved! I served our church for almost 12 years… It became family, just like home… What a great privileged we had to serve God in our church… But now is time to serve Him somewhere else with this verse in mind!)

 

Day 300 – Gorgeous sunrise

“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4:13

(I always have this expectation when I go to the beach. I take the bus there and I always look for the moment where I can see it from far away. Today it was just way to gorgeous… The combination of orange, yellow and blue was just perfect… Today was definitely worthy waking up early and taking some time at one of my favorite places maybe for the last time…)

 

Day 299 – Under the grace

“…grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” John 1:17b

 

Day 298 – Out of focus

“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” Colossians 3:2

(I’ve been to worry with all this moving back… It has been really difficult and overwhelming… This picture is a good representation of how I am now… Like out of focus. The verse is a great reminder of what I should do…)

 

Day 297 – Privileged!

“… to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory…” Ephesians 3:20b-21a

(What a great privilege to have another dream come true! I always wanted to take a picture of the same place in different seasons… And it happened! This place is acctully the cemetry near my house. I go there sometimes. The flowers on spring time is just so beautiful and now the trees are just the most beautiful ones… The first time I went there was on day 23 and I remember me asking God why I was over there… That was the  Winter. Then when spring came I was walking there and it just came to my mind that this dream of years could happen. That was the Spring. Then Summer come and I could not wait till Fall… It feels good… God does care about this little things in our lives…)
