Day 261 – He loves me forever

Real Abstract Project – Post #2

If God Loves Me, Can I Count on Him to Always Love Me?

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.” Isaiah 54:10

Fortunately, God’s love doesn’t depend on how well we love Him back. We don’t earn it, deserve it, or maintain it. God loves you at the top of the mountain, and He loves you equally in the depths of the valley. There is marvelous power, astounding power, supernatural power that comes when we cease our striving and simply begin to trust the rope—the infinite love of God. You need never let go of your hope because God will never let go of His love for you. ~ Dr. David Jeremiah

(It was around 5:20am. I was at the station waiting for the bus to go to work. To my right, I could see what would be the beginning of a beautiful day. Then I started to listen to music and randomly the first song that played was “I could sing of your love forever”. Well, I knew right there that today’s picture would be an “abstract” one… So, instead of trying to capture the sunrise, I capture what was in front of me while the song was playing… As if I was telling Him that doesn’t matter what I go through, I could sing of His love forever… Only He knew that throughout the day I would feel so sick (headache still as I write now…) that I wouldn’t be able to do anything else but lay in bed… The picture may not be that good… but what I felt this morning was… and I’m satisfied with that! And remember, God loves you. He always has, He always will.)

Day 203 – Waiting for us…

“So the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help.” Isaiah 30:18

Day 170 – More like Christ…

Color and Theme Project: Week 8 – Color: Green – Theme: Resentment

I claim this scripture to overcome resentment:

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32

(We have an great example to follow when someone steps on your toes…)

Day 129 – Our compassionate Father

Color and Theme Project: Week 2 – Color: White – Theme: Failure

I claim this scripture to overcome failure:

“As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; for He knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust.” Psalms 103:13-14

Day 114 – Comforting rain…

“The Lord will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.” Isaiah 51:3
