From Day 353 to Day 356

Day 356 – A new beginning

21_DEC

“…Put on your new nature, created to be like God…” Ephesians 4:24a

(I was at the airport waiting for my flight to go back home. When I found out that I didn’t get the window seat I made sure I had the shot for today… and with all this talk about the world ending today and since the sky was kind of dramatic, I took this picture! And my camera just broke after that… Let’s see what happens tomorrow…

Well, now I’m back home… Not really excited about it… Is good to be with family, but now is time to face reality and find the right path for my life… just like a new beginning…)

Day 355 – Thank you!

20_DEC

“Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words!” 2 Corinthians 9:15

(Should I say anything else? – Sunset by the Araguaia River)

//

Day 354 – Grace

19_DEC

“But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.” Psalm 86:15

(I have to say that I had to Google Translate egret… I have no idea how it is called in English… Anyhow… what a beautiful bird… full of grace!)

Day 353 – Floating boat

18_DEC

“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.” 2 Corinthians 9:8

(Another great sunset…)

Day 338 – Baby orchids

03_DEC

“Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

(I was told they were baby orchids…)

Day 275 – Children of God

“So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith.” Galatians 3:26

(I’ve been wanting to take pictures of people for quite some time… Today I went to one of my favorites places and there it is!)

Day 187 – Accepted!

“…I have God’s acceptance through faith in Christ. This is the acceptance that comes from God and is based on faith.” Philippians 3:9b

(Why is it so hard for us to accept ourselves when God has already accepted us?

By the way, I think I found a new prayer place!)

Day 181 – The care taker!

Color and Theme Project: Week 9 – Color: Black – Theme: Worry

I claim this scripture to overcome worry:

“If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?” Matthew 6:30

Day 140 – Everything is possible!

Color and Theme Project: Week 3 – Color: Orange – Theme: Doubt

I claim this scripture to overcome doubt:

“You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.” Matthew 17:20

(Week ago, a friend of mine gave me this mustard seed in the little bag with this verse on it. Since doubt is so related to faith, when I saw the little seed I knew that during the “doubt week” I would be posting it… I learned that the best way to slay the giant of doubt is through faith in God and with faith, everything is possible!)

Day 107 – Fascinated by it!

“And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?” Luke 12:28

(We can surely say that spring is the season that God surprises us the most… well, at least He has been surprising me… one day there is nothing there, the next day at the same place you just see a such a beautiful splash of color… That happened to me on Sunday morning on my way to church I saw this tree and the color of the flowers just fascinated me…   I knew right there that I wanted to capture it… So, I took this picture is morning… the verse or just came to my heart… now it feels complete…)

Day 104 – It’s always right to be here…

“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.” Hebrews 10:23
