Day 345 – There is more to see

10_DEC

“Everything has already been decided. It was known long ago what each person would be. So there’s no use arguing with God about your destiny.” Ecclesiastes 6:10

(It was Day 147 when I heard God speaking to me saying it was the right time to come back to Brazil. I was very reluctant and after my parents and I talked about it, I went out for a walk on the neighborhood. The way I heard him was through a poem He was putting in my heart… Something like this:

“I saw the most beautiful flowers…

I heard the most beautiful birds…

I cried at the most beautiful sunshine…

I gazed at the most beautiful sunset…

I smelled the beauty of spring

I sweat at the heat of summer

I played with the leaves of autumn”

And He kept on going… Well, it hasn’t been easy now that I’m here… I often cried and wish I could fly back right away… But today I think I heard Him again… In a split of a second… I’ve been noticing all these beautiful flowers all around… They just get me you know… Today I had couple minute of quietness and solitude with nature and I saw these little flowers… It took me 3 shots to hear Him saying that I haven’t seen it all… There is more beauty to see…

By the way, sorry for the blurry picture… I didn’t have much time… and also, tomorrow I’ll be traveling to the state of Mato Grosso to see my dear childhood friends!! Just so if you want to know where I’m living in Brazil, is around here!I’ll stay there for 10 days! I’ll try to post everyday but if I don’t is because either the internet is not good or I’ll be to busy enjoying it! God bless you all!)

Day 299 – Under the grace

“…grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” John 1:17b

Day 266 – Bamboo

“Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.” Romans 15:7

Day 229 – Stay focused

“Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you.” Proverbs 4:25

Day 181 – The care taker!

Color and Theme Project: Week 9 – Color: Black – Theme: Worry

I claim this scripture to overcome worry:

“If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?” Matthew 6:30

Day 177 – God’s grace

Color and Theme Project: Week 8 – Color: Green – Theme: Resentment

I claim this scripture to overcome resentment:

“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.” Ephesians 1:7

Day 176 – Simplicity!

Color and Theme Project: Week 8 – Color: Green – Theme: Resentment

I claim this scripture to overcome resentment:

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:20-21

(For the past 3 days I’ve been posting the passage of Romans 12 from verse 17 to 21. It is a very powerful passage and a great remainder of how we should deal with people that hurt us…)

Day 173 – Ferris wheel!

Color and Theme Project: Week 8 – Color: Green – Theme: Resentment

I claim this scripture to overcome resentment:

“Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” Romans 12:17-18

(I’ve been having such long days… but I can’t complain at all! I’m so grateful to God for all that is happening in my life and He still amazes me everyday! I took some pictures this morning and I even thought about posting in the morning but i believe God was telling me that I would see something else… Well, I did. It is just a Ferris wheel at this carnival near my house… It is the first time ever that the carnival came to the park close by. So, before heading home I met my mom there  for some fun! You know, with us going back to Brazil even a ride at a Ferris wheel it is an experience I want to have!

I hope that the is green enough for the challenge! And hey, summer is here!!!)

Day 171 – Peaceful place…

Color and Theme Project: Week 8 – Color: Green – Theme: Resentment

I claim this scripture to overcome resentment:

“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” Matthew 6:14-15

(Forgive and be in peace!)

Day 170 – More like Christ…

Color and Theme Project: Week 8 – Color: Green – Theme: Resentment

I claim this scripture to overcome resentment:

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32

(We have an great example to follow when someone steps on your toes…)
