Day 358 – Bedroom window

23_DEC

“Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him…” Ephesians 3:17a

(Shot from my bedroom window. I’ve been thinking a lot about this: What I see from my window or what I see through the window… I might develop the idea and incorporate it in my new blog for next year! I think that is a lot to tell in pictures like this… Let’s see what happens…)

Day 284 – Improvising

“My child, listen and be wise: Keep your heart on the right course.” Proverbs 23:19

(I miss painting so bad… Most of my painting stuff is in boxes and I still need to paint some commissioned portraits so I had to improvise a bit… But is was definitely good to hit the canvas again because I feel my heart on the right course when I do it!)

Day 205 – Pursuing…

“Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find life, righteousness, and honor.” Proverbs 21:21

(I’m just so glad that after another long day a work, God still amazes me with beautiful flowers and an touching bible verse! Pursue God and He will give you life!)

Day 133 – My portion…

Color and Theme Project: Week 2 – Color: White – Theme: Failure

I claim this scripture to overcome failure:

“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Psalm 73:26

(I hope there is enough white… I had to use the “What are the odds” technique… What are the odds I would caught a bee like that again? The bee definitely won over me!)

Day 107 – Fascinated by it!

“And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?” Luke 12:28

(We can surely say that spring is the season that God surprises us the most… well, at least He has been surprising me… one day there is nothing there, the next day at the same place you just see a such a beautiful splash of color… That happened to me on Sunday morning on my way to church I saw this tree and the color of the flowers just fascinated me…   I knew right there that I wanted to capture it… So, I took this picture is morning… the verse or just came to my heart… now it feels complete…)

Day 102 – At the other side

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day” 2 Corinthians 4:16

(Yesterday’s picture was from the other side of the river… Today I spent some time at this side… I’ve been there before, but this time was somehow different…)

Day 100 – Fighting to be…

“Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!” Psalm 31:24

(How often we feel so overwhelmed by our surroundings… the feeling that we’ve been drowned by everything… that’s when we got to be strong, courageous and keep waiting for the Lord. If you get a chance, read the whole chapter.)

Day 87 – Peace of God

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” John 14:27

(As I was asking God to speak with me today, nothing was really happening… Then I was looking up some random verses and this one just stood up… So, I got the verse, then I needed the picture… I had a meeting at a place near the river and so I knew that I wanted to stop by the river after the meeting. So I did! It was so beautiful and peaceful… As I was taking some pictures it all came together… You see, the city view in the back and yet, the  nature close by… such contrast. Nature verses city. How important it is to receive this gift of peace of mind and heart as we go through the daily life. Lets push the “city” far away and receive this great gift!)
