From Day 327 to Day 335 – Grace & Love

Hi everyone!

I’m not posting everyday, but I am taking pictures everyday and by the grace and love of God I haven’t missed one day!

So, here it is the end of the month!

Most of the pictures are taken from the apartment where we are staying till we move next next week! Sometimes I take pictures on the streets but I don’t feel that comfortable yet… I’m still slowly adapting to a new reality…

I don’t feel like writing today… So I’ll finish with this verse:

“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

From Day 306 to Day 326 – Grace

Hello!! First of all, my apologies for disappearing for a little while… well, just 20 days… I’m glad that my project is about taking a picture everyday not blogging everyday…

So, I’m not sure how this post is gonna turn out… But there is one thing I want to make sure I say here… God’s grace is unquestionable… I’m sure that I was able to take the pictures because of His grace…

I’m gonna post this only verse for all the pictures except for Day 306: “See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God…” Hebrews 12:15a

It has been 20 days since I landed here… Is really hard to explain the feeling… very mixed emotions.. Is great to see my family but at the same time is as if they are strangers but in a good way.

The weather is not helping… it has been raining a lot.

I got sick. I’m good now.

The sun is brighter here.

Things here are the same but different at the same time.

You pass by places you used to go and it your memory pops out.

I’ve been home most of the time… some of the pictures is just from downstairs where we are staying or the porch of the apartment.

People here are very diverse… Like all different shapes, colors… is very interesting… and overall I sense that they are very relaxed and happy.

The beach is beautiful.

I’m adapting okay… It is not easy but I’ll get the hang of it!

Now I’m gonna go through the pictures and if I feel like I’ll write about them…

Makes more sense if you read from the bottom!

I’ll try to post more often!

God bless!!!

Day 307 (Nov 02) – High above

Airplane views amazes me…

//

Day 306 (Nov 01) – Fly Balloon

“Thus far theLord has helped us.” 1 Samuel 7:12b

This was my last picture in the USA… I’m glad that I was able to take it because I was planning this picture for my last day for months… It was a beautiful morning… I wanted to leave with this image in my mind… Combining balloon and the beach… 2 of my favorite things… Letting go of some stuff that holds me back…

Day 272 – Shower it down

“You heavens above, rain down my righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up, let righteousness flourish with it; I, the Lord, have created it.” Isaiah 45:8

(I’m in Lancaster, PA with a group of people from church on an field trip! We just came back from watching the play Jonah at the Sight and Sound Theater and it was awesome!!! Tomorrow we are going to explore the place and of course go see the Amish people! And I’m so looking for that! I took this picture on our way here when it was raining a lot.)

Day 259 – Morning rain

“You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.” Psalms 32:7

(I was under my umbrella at the bus stop on my way to work. Rain was pouring. I took a picture.)

Day 156 – Rusty stair

Color and Theme Project: Week 6 – Color: Yellow – Theme: Procrastination

I claim this scripture to overcome procrastination:

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Psalms 90:12

(It has been raining a lot since Saturday… Sometimes I pass by this rusty yellow stairs on my way to work, but I only notice it today! The rain was pouring so I went under the stairs and saw a bunch of these little yellow flowers… I knew that I had to put them together somehow… The wind was blowing the flower and my umbrella… It was funny tough… but just now it hit me… When we procrastinate and keep on postponing things (specially spiritually things) we became rusty and is really difficult to get it all “cleaned up” how it is supposed to be… that’s the rusty stair and the flower I guess is just a bonus!)

Day 137 – Loaded, no more!

Color and Theme Project: Week 3 – Color: Orange – Theme: Doubt

I claim this scripture to overcome doubt:

“Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” Psalms 37:5

(Today I had to use the “What are the odds” technique… Let me try to explain (I wish I was a writer in times like this)… I had planned last night to stop by this place and take this specific picture before I went to work. But I had to go someplace else first and I ended up not being able to go to the place. Also, yesterday I was thinking about how I miss taking of people and how I wanted to go to Harvard Square just because every time I go there I feel so rich with the diversity, the business and the art all around it. I woke up during the night (that happens quite often…) and I read a comment that forhisgloryandpraise.wordpress.com wrote me suggesting that I should try to photograph people… So, guess what happened? I ended up going to Harvard Square then this guys passes buy riding his bike with a orange bag… well, I knew right there that that was the moment… I immediately connected everything in my mind… That orange bag is full of doubts and we try to go on with our lives carrying that on our backs… The ride would be much easier if instead of doubting we would trust more! What a loving God we have the privilege to call Father!)

Day 130 – Teary flower

Color and Theme Project: Week 2 – Color: White – Theme: Failure

I claim this scripture to overcome failure:

“He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities.” Psalms 103:10

Day 114 – Comforting rain…

“The Lord will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.” Isaiah 51:3
