Day 256 – Being identified

“Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.” Matthew 7:20

Day 238 – Heavens and earth!

“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” Jeremiah 32:17

(Well, I’m exhausted and today we had a great yard sale! And that tree was the only thing I could think of for today’s post… And the verse is a great reminder!  Nothing is too hard for Him!)

Day 215 – The bench

“Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you.” Isaiah 60:1

(It is the same place of Lonely Bench and Back there… in different seasons… now I just have to wait till autumn comes…)

Day 209 – We don’t know yet…

“Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.” 1 Corinthians 13:12b

(Just because sometimes is hard to know it all…)

Day 200 – God’s provision

“Give us today the food we need” Matthew 6:11

(I was always so sure about the fact that God is my provider… I never doubted that He is the one that give us job and a way to live on this earth. I actually spotted this little apple on the sidewalk yesterday but I also caught the wise ant working hard and I ended up choosing the ant over the apple hopping that the apple would still be there today… And it was!! Well, yesterday when I saw it I immediately remember that around 2 years ago I was really struggling at my job to a point that I was getting emotionally sick… and one day I was going to work and I passed by this tree and there was an fruit (I don’t remember what kind) and I really felt that God was telling me that no matter what happens with my job, He would always be my provider… Sometimes I think about that day and I remember the feeling of such assurance that could only come from Him… My prayer is that I will never forget that all that I have and all that I am comes from Him!)

Day 180 – Under the tree

Color and Theme Project: Week 9 – Color: Black – Theme: Worry

I claim this scripture to overcome worry:

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” Psalms 55:22

(I spotted them weeks ago… I knew then that I would take a picture when the color for the project was black. They are just around the corner from my house. Is amazing how by taking a picture everyday you train your eyes to see what is in front of you! Aren’t they cute??)

Day 84 – In its own time…

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11
