“I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray.” Psalms 17:6
Color and Theme Project: Week 2 – Color: White – Theme: Failure
I claim this scripture to overcome failure:
“He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.” Psalm 40:2
(What a privilege this past week where we talked about “Failure”. I hope the Word of God will keep on guiding and helping us to slay those giants in our lives!
By the way, did you guys watched the video I made with the photos from March and April? If not, check it out:

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!!
Color and Theme Project: Week 2 – Color: White – Theme: Failure
I claim this scripture to overcome failure:
“The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.” Habakkuk 3:19
(About 3 or 4 years ago I went to a Christian Conference about music and instruments, stuff like that… Well, I don’t sing or play anything but I went along just for the experience! One of the performers was Doyle Dykes and I had the privilege to listen to the white rose story and I just loved the song…
Sometimes I just feel that I need to listen to this song… today is one of those days… As I was going to church, I was thinking about it and I thought to myself that I wanted to take a picture of a white rose… then I immediately started to think where I would go to take the picture. Then out of now where I accidentally went to the church’s office and guess what was there??? A bouquet of white roses!!! I felt so loved by God… I didn’t even prayed about but He heard my thoughts… It was meant to be there… White rose for me!
Here is the video with the testimony and the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGIkjtXDtVQ)
Color and Theme Project: Week 2 – Color: White – Theme: Failure
I claim this scripture to overcome failure:
“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Psalm 73:26
(I hope there is enough white… I had to use the “What are the odds” technique… What are the odds I would caught a bee like that again? The bee definitely won over me!)
Color and Theme Project: Week 2 – Color: White – Theme: Failure
I claim this scripture to overcome failure:
“The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.” Psalms 37:23-24
(I realized today that I haven’t taken a black and white pic for quite a while… and since the color is white, I couldn’t resist!)
Color and Theme Project: Week 2 – Color: White – Theme: Failure
I claim this scripture to overcome failure:
“…so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” John 8:7
(I slept last night with this image in my mind and woke up this morning with this verse… We go back to the question: Who never failed? Who doesn’t feel like failure sometimes? The verse says “sin” but I’m sure the woman felt like she had failed. And what I think is so beautiful about this passage is that Jesus stood up for her… Let’s keep in our minds that He still stands up for us today!)
Color and Theme Project: Week 2 – Color: White – Theme: Failure
I claim this scripture to overcome failure:
“He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities.” Psalms 103:10
Color and Theme Project: Week 2 – Color: White – Theme: Failure
I claim this scripture to overcome failure:
“As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; for He knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust.” Psalms 103:13-14
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11
