Day 341 – Ready to bloom

06_DEC

“Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper” Psalm 37:3

(Did I mention is spring here?)

Day 338 – Baby orchids

03_DEC

“Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

(I was told they were baby orchids…)

Day 300 – Gorgeous sunrise

“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4:13

(I always have this expectation when I go to the beach. I take the bus there and I always look for the moment where I can see it from far away. Today it was just way to gorgeous… The combination of orange, yellow and blue was just perfect… Today was definitely worthy waking up early and taking some time at one of my favorite places maybe for the last time…)

Day 295 – Fall leaves

“Seek the Lord and his strength;  seek his presence continually.” 1 Chronicles 16:11

Day 292 – A sign of love

Real Abstract Project – Post # 5

If God Loves Me, Why He Disciplines Me?

“Because the Lord disciplines those he loves…” Proverbs 3:12a

(I haven’t posted an abstract picture for weeks… And also, they changed the resource online where I would take the questions and answers from Dr. David Jeremiah… Well, I remembered this question and another one that I’ll probably use on the next post. And remember, God loves you. He always has, He always will.)

Day 189 – Home sweet home!

“But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.” Philippians 3:20

(I read this verse couple days ago. It got stuck in my head… and it got me thinking about it… When I knew I would be going to this place, I knew that I wanted to take a picture of the sky… I glad I had a chance to capture this beautiful sunset and again think about my future home! By the way, where is yours??)

Day 168 – Cloudy sunset

Color and Theme Project: Week 7 – Color: Blue – Theme: Discouragement

I claim this scripture to overcome discouragement:

“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12

(Is it blue enough?? I hope so… It was all I could think of after a long day at work…)

Day 162 – Yellow rose bud!

Color and Theme Project: Week 6 – Color: Yellow – Theme: Procrastination

I claim this scripture to overcome procrastination:

“Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor.” Proverbs 12:24

(Talking about overcoming procrastination… this picture was taken around 7:30am today when I decided I would go rollerblading before Sunday School… let me tell you that this would never happen before… I learned this past days that the best way for me to not procrastinate is to be more determined! And I also decided to change my diet and I’ve been eating healthier and exercise and by doing that I have more energy and adding that with determination and God’s help, I’m being able to slay that giant! Feels like I’m flourishing!)

Day 161 – Little flower!

Color and Theme Project: Week 6 – Color: Yellow – Theme: Procrastination

I claim this scripture to overcome procrastination:

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men” Colossians 3:23

(I was searching about what the Bible says about procrastination and I found this: “One cure for procrastination is more diligence, regardless of the task. The Christian should be supremely motivated to be diligent in his work, since he is ultimately serving the Lord. If we put our hearts into our work, as this verse says to do, we will probably find it difficult to procrastinate too much.” And I thing I’m on the right path. God has been so good to me! :))

Day 160 – Brought by God!

Color and Theme Project: Week 6 – Color: Yellow – Theme: Procrastination

I claim this scripture to overcome procrastination:

“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.” Ecclesiastes 9:10

(Today was such a long day… I just realized that now that God brought these sunflowers to me… He knew I would have no time at all during the day and that I would be extremely tired by now… Just so you understand why I said that God brought them to me, this is what happened. Tomorrow will be a grand opening of this place where I’m working kind of part time or whatever I’m needed and yesterday a customer came with them! So, after working 12 hours straight, the only yellow thing I could think of  were these beautiful sunflowers brought by God!)
