Day 164 – Finding courage

Color and Theme Project: Week 7 – Color: Blue – Theme: Discouragement

I claim this scripture to overcome discouragement:

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.” Psalms 46:1-3

(I’m so blessed to live near the beach… I haven’t been there for weeks… I missed it so much… I knew that I had to go there. It is one of my favorite places to talk with God and find courage to face life!)

Day 111 – Focusing on Him

“… nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” 2 Chronicles 20:12b

(Is better to meet God with tears in your eyes than weapons in your hands. ~ Thomas Watson)

Day 107 – Fascinated by it!

“And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?” Luke 12:28

(We can surely say that spring is the season that God surprises us the most… well, at least He has been surprising me… one day there is nothing there, the next day at the same place you just see a such a beautiful splash of color… That happened to me on Sunday morning on my way to church I saw this tree and the color of the flowers just fascinated me…   I knew right there that I wanted to capture it… So, I took this picture is morning… the verse or just came to my heart… now it feels complete…)

Day 102 – At the other side

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day” 2 Corinthians 4:16

(Yesterday’s picture was from the other side of the river… Today I spent some time at this side… I’ve been there before, but this time was somehow different…)

Day 96 – Full Moon

“God set these lights in the sky to light the earth, to govern the day and night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.” Genesis 1:17-18

(You know, I can’t help but to love God more and more… I’ve thinking about taking a night picture… I had some pictures taken during the day but I wasn’t quite happy about it… and then just as I was going home, there she was! Such a big beautiful moon… You know, I don’t use a professional camera, the battery was dying, my memory card was full and it was kind of cold too… this was the best I could do… and God saw that it was good and that’s more than enough! :))
